- "The Japan Rail Pass really made my trip. After landing at the Narita Airport, I went straight to JR Narita Airport Station to pick-up my Japan Rail Pass. I immediately used my pass and took a JR Narita Express train from the airport to JR Tokyo Station. In Tokyo I enjoyed getting around using JR Yamanote and Chouo Line trains. From Tokyo I took a JR Shinkansen bullet train to Kyoto and Hakata and enjoyed traveling around the cities using my pass. I probably saved almost half my train fare in the 7-day trip using the Japan Rail Pass."
